Alarm goes off at 6 am
I hit the snooze until Mom busts in
Had a late night playing at CBGB
I start my day by getting dressed
Gotta wear a shirt, tie, and jacket
But they can’t take my Doc Martens boots

I head out the door to catch the bus
The only part of my day that doesn’t suck

There’s a girl on the bus who’s a total punk
First time I saw her I was so in love
But dressed like this I can’t go talk to her

What I’d give to be at home
Global Studies with Ms. Fox
This class ain’t bad, Ms. Fox is hot
Chaos ensues to end my day
Computer class with Mr. Grey

Fix your tie, tuck in your shirt

Listen to me when I am talking to you
Did you complete all your homework
